PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT AND DISCLAIMER
The law firm of Chevez, S.C., which is located at Bosque de Ciruelos 130, Despacho 301, Bosques de las Lomas, Código Postal 11700, Ciudad de México, México (hereinafter "Chevez Abogados"), acknowledges the importance of the legitimate, controlled and informed management of your personal data and provides this Personal Data Protection Statement, for you to learn of its practices for obtaining, using, storing and, in general, managing your personal data, in conformity with the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in the Possession of Private Parties (LFPDP).
Your personal data, including sensitive data, which currently or in the future could be contained in our databases, will be managed by Chevez Abogados, which shall be responsible for this personal information, in order identify it; be able to communicate with or contact you; ascertain your tax situation, be able to properly advise you; among other analogous activities related to the firm's purpose, which will mainly consist of the rendering of professional, administrative, consulting and assessment services on legal and tax matters.
Chevez Abogados will compile and manage your personal data, in other words, the information that can reasonably be identified, through documents, whether in print and/or digital formats. The following are examples, which may include but are not limited to the information which Chevez Abogados may obtain: first and last names; date of birth; marital status; address, which may be your home or work address or tax domicile; cell phone number; tax returns; Federal Registry of Taxpayers number (RFC); Sole Population Registry Code (CURP); Mexican Institute of Social Security number (IMSS); marital status documents; academic documents; and others of a similar nature.
Chevez Abogados obtains your personal data, including sensitive data, when it has a legal relationship with you or because it is possible that a legal relationship may develop in a direct and personal manner; or else, through electronic, optical, audio or visual media or through any other technology or sources permitted by law.
Chevez Abogados may also compile personal data from sources accessible to the public and from other sources in the market to which you have given your consent to share your personal information.
If you provide your personal data, this implies that you agree with the compilation, use, transfer and storage of your personal information, including your sensitive personal information, which means that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms of this statement. If you do not agree, you should NOT provide any personal information.
You, whose personal data is gathered, grant your consent to CHEVEZ for the management and transfer of the same to other Mexican or foreign parties, related to your professional experience through any means permitted by law, including sensitive data and data concerning your estate, under the terms and for the purposes established herein.
The time period for managing your personal data, including the sensitive data, will be indefinite, as of the date on which you supply the same to Chevez Abogados.
If you are not opposed to the terms of this statement, within 30 days after the data were supplied, you will be considered to have agreed and consented to the content, under the terms of article 8, third paragraph of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in the Possession of Private Parties (LFPDP).
Regarding sensitive personal data, Chevez Abogados will obtain your express written consent for managing the same, through a handwritten signature, an electronic signature or any means of authentication established for this purpose. According to law, no consent will be necessary for managing personal data, when the same are intended for complying with obligations derived from a legal relationship between you and the responsible party.
Chevez Abogados observes the principles of confidentiality, legality, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality and responsibility in protecting personal data, so that we declare that these data will be kept in different media that are as secure as technology permits, the access to which will be limited solely to the natural and/or legal persons with which Chevez Abogados has a legal relationship.
Chevez Abogados will have the security measures in place, which it considers are adequate to protect the use your personal data by unauthorized third parties. However, Chevez Abogados does not guarantee that unauthorized third parties may not gain access via your physical or logical systems or those of Chevez Abogados to the electronic documents in its systems. Consequently, Chevez Abogados will in no case whatsoever be responsible for the damages that could result from this unauthorized access. If the authorities should request these data, your personal data may be made available to them, within strict compliance with the law.
All parties that wish to exercise their rights to access, rectification, cancelation or opposition (ARCO rights) may exercise the same at any time by presenting a written request to Chevez Abogados, duly signed, which includes the following elements:
1. Your name and address or other means for communicating the response to your request;
2. The documents that accredit your identity, or, if applicable, your legal representative;
3. A clear and precise description of the personal data, with respect to which it is sought to exercise any of the aforementioned rights.
4. Concerning applications for rectification, you must indicate the modifications to be made and supply the documentation supporting your request; and,
5. Any other element or document that facilitates locating your personal data.

Chevez Abogados shall understand that, unless the contrary is stated, this means that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms set out herein, which constitutes your consent to the changes established in these updates, with respect to the management of your personal data for purposes of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in the Possession of Private Parties and the other applicable legal norms.
